The Government of and Punjab announced on Monday that all public and private schools will be reopening on September 15.
Education Minister of Punjab Murad Rass announced that the schools will be reopened in phases. He said that schools for students of 9 and 10 will reopen on September 15. While classes for six and eight will start from September 22.

While schools for nursery to class 5 students will start from September 30, Rass announced. “No double shift. All public and private schools to allow only 50% of students in one day. Alternative days will have the other 50% students,” Rass tweeted.
His announcement comes during the meeting of the inter-provincial education ministers’ conference (IPEMC), which is deciding on reopening all educational institutions next week.
